REAL ESTATE AUCTIONS (SCROLL DOWN FOR PERSONAL PROPERTY AUCTION INSTRUCTIONS)
Step 1
Enter it into Bullseye as a listing FIRST using these steps:
Go to Bullseye – Click on Listing – Add New Listing
Give it a unique listing number – write this number down, you will need it later when converting to an auction
Select Auction as the Contract Type
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Complete Basic Listing Information Page:
Price – enter 0 or a starting bid/advertised reserve amount here
Contract Dates – enter the dates from your Auction Listing Agreement (note – not necessarily the auction start/end dates)
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Complete Owner Information Page
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Complete Property Information Pages
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Complete Advertising and Internet Information
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Complete Attachments Page
This is where you will add photos and documents specific to this property
Click confirm to save information and progress to next step
Go to Bullseye
Click on Auctions
Add New Auction
Enter Auction Listing Information
Auction Title – be descriptive and include a date
Auction Type – based on what type of auction you’re conducting – selecting online auction will automatically propagate fields to add external links and buttons
Auction Date & Time Zone
Auctioneer Associate – who is the auctioneer
Auction Information – this is where you will put all of the copy for your auction
Add links to maps and videos here
Terms & Conditions – place your auction terms and conditions here
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Enter Auction Event Information
Auction Location – where is the auction taking place
Live auction – enter the location the live auction will take place
Live & Online/Simulcast auctions – enter the location the live aspect of the auction will take place
Online auction – enter online only or your office address
Auction Date – (auction will stay on your website for 24 hours past the end date/time)
Live auction – enter the date and time of the auction
Online only/Simulcast/Live & Online – enter the dates bidding opens and closes
URL for online auction – enter the URL for your online auction provider here (where can they bid on the property online)
Do Not add your office website here – this is specifically for where one can go to bid on the property – if you don’t have a link to add, do not add one
This link will automatically attach to a “Bid Now” button
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Auction Attachments
Upload your official terms and conditions/Property Information Package/etc, here
Click next to save information and progress to next screen
Step 2
Creation of a Lot
NOTE: YOU MUST DO THIS EVEN IF YOU HAVE A SINGLE PROPERTY/LOT!
Real Estate
Click on Real Estate Listing Lot Button
Insert the listing number you created in step #1 above
Then click “Get Listing”
Then select “Move this Lot to this Auction” checkbox
Click on “Save Lot” button to move it to the auction
NOTE: YOU CAN MOVE MORE THAN ONE LISTING INTO THE AUCTION IF YOU’RE HAVING A MULTI-PROPERTY AUCTION
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Click on Personal Property Lot Button
Fill out information about that piece of personal property – including photos, description, etc.
Note – you do not need to enter start and end date unless it has a differing start/end date from the auction information you already entered
Click Save to save the lot information
CONTINUE THIS PROCESS UNTIL ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY LOTS ARE SAVED
